The Cat is Out of the Bag

I just had bit of a surprise a few minutes ago when a little bird told me that Marty at "Stitch and Frog" had found my secrets out, and was so excited that she shared pix of my two newest with the world. The original source was Dinky Dyes Facebook page, and I admit I was apparently clueless on how lightening-fast news travels -- until now. So, with wide open eyes, and an equal amount of excitement, I will now share the "Scoop" on my newest designs with you.



*****  "Panoply of Pods 'n' Puffs" is the third design in the "Panoply Series". It is 119 x 173 stitches, full crosses and lots of blackwork in stunning pastels, sprinkled with a few beads and even fewer French Knots. It is stitched on Wichelt's #7696 Black Chocolate linen, 28 ct, over 2. The finished size is 8 1/2 x 12 1/3". The model is stitched on Wichelt linen, Black Chocolate #7696, 28 ct over 2 with 7 Gloriana silks in stunning pastels. The finished size is 8 1/2 x 12 1/3".

*****  "Sampling in Scarlets" is a companion to the previously released sampler called "Needleworker's Abecedarius". Sampling in Scarlets 226 x 360 stitches, mostly full crosses with a few straight stitches. It is stitched on Zweigart Dublin linen, 26 count undyed or natural, over 1 with a selection of six Dinky Dyes fabulous red silks. Finished size is 8 3/4 x 13 7/8".

 
Both designs will be released at the Needlework Show later this month - please visit Dinky Dyes for information.
