Christmas Cuties to Chill Your Summer

Here are a pair of Christmas cuties from Tempting Tangles.  They should to make these blazing summer days seem a bit cooler. I've been spending the even hours working on a Night Before Christmas ornament series and found myself in a truly wintry mood.  So with that in mind, I should these two should hurry their way to your favorite shop and then into your stitching basket!

" Santa's Sleigh" shows off with a a sparkly, beaded tree.  "Sox for St. Nick" is a little simpler and is a quickie, fun one.  A friend of mine, Arlene Edelman Harris,  did the beautiful finishing on these.  I stitched both and am working now on the rest of the set.  :-)  More updates later on!

These ornaments are worked in Gentle Art floss with a Dinky Dyes cross reference. There are a few specialty stitches but with included instructions to make them simple to do.
"Santa's Sleigh" is worked on Zweigart Lugana, 32 ct, antique white; "Sox for St. Nick" is worked on Zweigart, 28 ct Cashel linen, antique white.  Both work up to around 4 inches square unless you are adventurous and want to use a count finer than 32.  Both are worked over 2 threads for the best effect.
