Have A Cuppa (Tea)

Today, we are releasing a little tea kettle design, "Have A Cuppa".  I will start emailing my newsletter this week for those of you who are signed up.  There is a nice write up in there along with a better picture and other interesting information.

Basically, here is the design info:  Our checkered, classic copper tea kettle is a lovely piece you can easily stitch in time for gift giving.  As an ornament-size tea design, it fits right in with our mix of large & small designs in our  ongoing “Tea and Coffee” series as a smaller companion piece.

Please note:  the cover model was worked on Zweigart’s Newcastle linen (40 ct) “Days Gone By”.  At this time, this particular fabric may no longer be available in your area. With that in mind, almost any lighter fabric works nicely so this is a chance to be creative and trust your own color judgement!
“Have A Cuppa” copper kettle was stitched in 7 shades of DMC; the chart includes a cross reference to Dinky Dyes silk for those who want to dress this up a bit!

Design is 87 x 89.  On 36 ct over 2 = 5” square. On 40 ct over 2 = 4 1/2” square. It contains only full cross stitch along with some back or straight stitch; and is suitable to be worked over 1.  Stitch some of those Tea Strainers for quick little book mark gifts!

Enjoy and happy stitching   :-)
