The story behind "Second Star" comes from the James M. Barrie play: “Peter Pan”, performed on the London stage in 1904.  The audience is actually given the directions to Neverland as, "second to the right, and straight on till morning"

Second Star is 130 x 130 stitches.
The finished size on 32 count over 2 = 8 1/18”. Worked over 2 with 3 colors of Dinky Dyes floss, on Wichelt’s # 862146 Jobelan Lambswool 32 count.  
 

Our other kitties needed a little friend so here she is.  Miss Kitty Cupcake" is worked in 2 colors of Dinky Dyes silk, mainly using Luna Park, a  brightly, variegated floss.  Each skein contains a range of colors from teal, blue, purple, greens, red and orange.   Instructions on the easy way to accomplish this are included plus DMC cross ref .

Miss Kitty Cupcake is 78 x 78 stitches; 
Size = 5 ½” square if worked over 2 on 28 count. Worked over 2 t on Wichelt Dusty Green/Olive Green; Wichelt Jobelan; 28ct #429123J with 2 strands of Dinky Dyes silk
