Corrections and informational updates.  * If any of you have purchased my design in pdf over on Etsy, be sure to set your printer margin to NARROW.

In some cases, I've included links to documents  to Google Docs, a safe environment where you can see and  download the file. Any floss cross references I provide are never exact between floss companies.  A solid color like DMC cannot possibly be a perfect xref to a hand-dyed variegated floss. With that in mind, I've considered each design as a whole, choosing those colors which work nicely together

 Mister Blueberry Blue:
We managed to leave out a 4-stitch horizontal swath across the chart parts 1 and 2, left and right top sections.  These pieces will give you enough extra both above and below the missing area so you can without a problem.  You can also download the section here.

  Harvest Brew:  A DMC conversion.

Peacock Pinwheels:   Some chart copies are missing the back stitch part of the key - see below

Remember:  The elephant's eye is a tiny, ginger bead.  Info was omitted from the key.  Use a 4-sided stitch in ecru/natural to outline that eye area.

Attach a Mill Hill # 42028 Ginger petite seed bead for elephant’s eye.

Scarlet Letters:The key has the same back stitch symbol for Fireside and Shades of Wine.  This is the corrected key -

  Daybreak Star Bright

Notice:  For any of our charts that list the brand Crescent Colours silks or cottons, the company has changed owners to Classic Colorworks.  Floss names remain the same.

Have A Cuppa
Back stitch the little lid on the light where the light source shines on it – using 400 or the darker rust of the shades you use. Then under where the handle attaches, darken that up with 3031 or the darkest brown so it shows up against the rust colored metal of the pot.

Persuasion: The symbols for the two blues in the chart key were accidentally reversed.  Here is a correction for your key plus additional numbers for dates.

Santa's Sleigh ornament- uses a variation of Smyrna Cross, which I call Diagonal Smyrna Cross over 6- it is my own variation.  To create each cross on the dark green tree branches, first work a large RIGHT LEANING single cross stitch over 6 threads of linen, or over 3 on Aida. Then overlay a LEFT LEANING cross as the illustration shows. Attach copper bead in centers.

Queen For Today- has two symbols in the key that are so similar that some folks were confused. The gold color on the crown is an asterisk symbol  and the words (green) are a solid black dot. Any future charts we print will have different symbols.  Just as a double-check, be aware that only the crown is stitched in gold.

Needleworker's Abecedarius - on very early charts, there is a notation that this design can be worked over 1 thread.   It must be worked over 2 threads.  Also a typo -  use the word Kelim instead of the  erroneous Kemlin, which is incorrect.

Patient Stitcher:  suggested fabric is Rue green by Zweigart. This color has been discontinued but a satisfactory xref is either Weeks Dye Works Morris Blue or Seafoam

  • Tempting Teas:    Some charts may show Dinky Dyes #46 Topaz which should 144 Aussie Dawn

    Giovanni's Alphabet -

Some early charts show a leafy border below the second alphabet charted in the same dark green used in the top alphabet with the flowers alternating in pink and lavender.
Notice the little arrow pointing to the affected border.  The model was stitched with the lighter green with all pink flowers.   Newer charts issued later in 2012 have been corrected.  Either way is pretty;  floss needs are the same.
    We Are One

The first charts issued suggest "1000d" Perle, but also states size 12.
The key should say "600d" Perle, which is equivalent to size 12

In the color key, Red Jasper is #180 not #140.  Corrected key is below.
    Quaker Rocky Road
     Panoply of Peacocks
There are two letter “P”s which have no indication as to color to be used.  These two which appear in Section 3 are to be done in 3765 DMC which is a dark blue. All other back stitching is done in the same floss color as the stitches for the motif itself.  For example, this motif in violet is all the same color, whether cross stitches and back stitch.  If you want to use a contrasting that's your choice. The finished work is yours to personalize as you wish.

In certain areas, the symbol that appears as an inverted Trident - should be used for Crescent Cotton either Amber Waves or Creeping Jenny - depending on which shows better on the fabric you have chosen; for CC silks, Lily Pad is another suggestion.   If using DMC, use 833 Golden Olive.

    Panoply of Posies
If your chart was purchased in late 2010 or early 2011,
it may be missing  Section 2.
Missing Section 2 - Download numbers/alphabet for personalizing:

Charts purchased around mid 2010 may have section #11.
